This toy castle has lots of shapes and places to put them ... like this little plastic “king.”

Whenever possible, Drew has one ball in each hand.

Drew's First Birthday (Party 8-27-2005)

Of course, Drew's birthday was the Wednesday before, on August 24. But I didn't arrive till Friday night, 2 days later, after Drew was fast asleep in bed.

When Drew woke up and had breakfast, we played for awhile. During his nap Mommy and Grandma picked up the cake and sandwiches, and BALLOONS ... for the party at 11:00. Here are Mommy and Drew the morning before his party.
